Passing Sandbox now available to Backers! 

Hey Backers,

Tonight the Lacrosse Academy has been updated with the first "Testing Sandbox"!

As a backer, you get to be the very first to test the player movement, passing, and shooting for Lacrosse 16! This is the first of multiple Sandboxes that we will be releasing in order to gather your feedback.

Please remember that the more detailed your feedback, the more helpful it will be to us and the better the game will be. This is an essential part of the process and we can't wait to hear what you think! 

(Note: You'll need a console controller connected to your PC to test the game. Below are directions on how to connect your controllers)

Update + College Lacrosse 2014

Hey Backers,

I wanted to quickly check in and update you on the progress of Lacrosse 15! While ramping up the development of the game, we have been working on the Player Creator that you'll use to design your custom players and teams. The plan is to release the Player Creator early 2015 on Steam to enable you to start building your characters which will be implemented automatically into the game.  I think you're going to be happy with how it turns out!

Also, if you haven't filled out your Backerkit survey, please head over to http://laxvideogame.backerkit.com and input your email. You'll be automatically prompted to fill out your survey.

Lastly, I wanted to let you know that College Lacrosse 2014 is coming soon to iOS and Android! This game has nothing to do with Lacrosse 15 but should be a good way to have some fun until we are finished :)

I'm getting ready to send out the surveys that you'll use to select your console and change any of your contact info. Please look out for an email from a site called Backerkit. Once you get that email, please create an account and fill out the survey. Also, if you'd like to upgrade your preorder or add additional preorders you'll be able to!

Thank you for your amazing support over the last 60 days! Because of you, we crushed our goal and will finally be able to make a video game that the sport of lacrosse deserves! 

I'll be sending out updates to the email address you provided when you contributed to the campaign. The system you want your game on, instructions for creating your custom player, and updates on the overall progress of the game will be shared with you via email.

To answer some of your specific questions, please read below. 

1. How do you select your console?

You will select what system you want in a survey that will be sent out via email. Once the game is released, you'll receive a redeem code that can be used to get the game for Xbox, PlayStation, or PC.

2. How do you create your player?

In the upcoming months, we will send out a player creator that you will use to design your player.  You will send your custom player back to us for  implementation into the game.

3. What team will I be on?

All teams will be split into different cities or states. In the upcoming months, you will fill out a form to select what city or state you will join. 

4. Can I increase my pledge?

I'm not sure this is possible, but I'll look into it and let everyone know.

5. When will the beta version be available to test? 

We will update you in the next few months. The goal is obviously to get it to you as soon as possible but it will take a few months before you see the first build. That said, I have a few other things to share with you soon ;)

6. What if I need to change my contact email? 

Email carlo@crossestudios.com with the subject line: Wrong email. In that email include your name, original email used for the campaign, and the new one you'd like us to save.
